We love our friends at PRCM!
Saturday, August 2, 2008 | Filed under News, Updates

We here at The Back Room love lots of things. Puppies, superhereos, Canada based teen soap operas…but there are few things in life we love more than our good friends at Pop-Rock Candy Mountain, the only other site you need to be visiting when you’re not at ours.

Check out their podcast, The Pop-Rock Candy Mountain Show  featuring two of my favorite people in the world Hal Sparks and Michael Ian Black. They also have a brand spanking new interview with my future husband, Chris Hardwick.

A special thanks to Jeff and Amanda over at PRCM for helping us out so much! You are our heroes and we love ya illegal amounts!

Kept you waiting, huh?

Things here at The Back Room continue to get more amazing with every passing day. I know the updates and whatnot have been a little scarce but I promise you, when you see everything we have in store for you, you’re going to be very thankful for that wait. We’re using the element of surprise here, like a Snake in the grass waiting to attack you with something most awesome and amazing. :)

Beautiful things are happening…some of which I don’t even want to talk about right now BUT will be out soon! Stay tuned!

In fact, we are dreamin’ up and schemin’ up future interviews just for you! I recently got to interview Jenny Keller and Lisa Q, two amazing and funny girls who are making a first-of-its-kind Kids in the Hall fan documentary! So you can look forward to that going up in the near future.

Just hang tight, kiddies, we have a host of beautiful awesome things coming up.

By the way, anyone check out Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots? AH-MAY-ZING! Congrats to our friend Christopher Randolph along with David Hayter, Quinton Flynn, Jennifer Hale, Debi Mae West, Kim Mai Guest, Phil LaMarr, Paul Eiding, Pat Zimmerman, Kris Zimmerman-Salter, Ryan Payton, and the entire MGS crew for a game extremely well done! And of course a huge thank you to Hideo Kojima for creating such a beautiful and emotional end to such a beautiful and emotional series. You need to pick this one up, guys. It’ll be the best thing you do all year. Just sayin…

Amanda’s been floating a lot lately.

So first, it was getting to interview Christopher Randolph and boxViolet. earlier this month. Then, on May 22nd, I got to meet The Kids in the Hall!

In case you’ve been living under a comedy rock, The Kids in the Hall have been on tour for a few months with all new (awesome) material but the same dresses and high heels you’ve come to love them for. I’ve been a crazy, huge obsessive fan of the troupe for a really, really long time so to get to meet all five of the guys was amazing and an experience I’ll never forget. You can read about it here if you like.

Now, back to business!

As you know, almost nothing gets posted in this space without a reason. Soon, and very soon…I’m going to be interviewing Ms. Vanessa Marshall who voices Olga in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty! How ’bout them armpits? Stay tuned for that, MGS freaks. I know you guys are lurking! Pingbacks, my dolls, pingbacks.
