What is “The Back Room”?

It’s our place to interview the people we find interesting. The people who move something in us. Who make us think, feel, and just make the world a better place to wake up to everyday. Musicians, actors, TV personalities… they all play a part in our life in some way or another. Now, we don’t know any mega super powers in the world of entertainment… but those aren’t the people who move us or anybody we know. Leave those people to be poked and prodded about what color underwear they’re wearing to E! and People Magazine. We’re digging up the underground.

“The Back Room” was officially founded and brought to life on Grammy night of 2008 (February 10) by two passionate, professional fans of everything by the names of Syriah and Amanda.

Syriah, an avid music lover and photographer, is the one with all the (good) ideas and the magical fingers that helps this place run smoothly and look pretty.

Amanda, a girl gamer and also a photographer and music lover, is probably a little crazy but she lives and breathes the happenings of the site and works hard at giving something back to the people who have– indirectly and without even knowing it–given so much to her over the years.
